If you are reading this, I imagine you may be experiencing some degree of distress or emotional discord in your life. You might be feeling stressed, depressed, or anxious, among other things. My experiences enable me to offer effective outpatient, individualized psychological care. I treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples.
In today's society, more and more people realize that psychotherapy holds benefits for them. Therapy has become a part of our cultlural mainstream. Many clients enter therapy because of anxiety, depression, grief from disruptive life events, or other significant issues. Some seek therapy because of an awareness that they are not satisfied with life, despite working very had at it. And still, others may be interested in therapy because of a realization that they keep repeating the same self-destructive behaviors with themselves or their loved ones. Lastly, it is my belief that Self realization and actualization are key to a more healthy mind set.
My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We all have the potential to find balance and peace within ourselves and our relationships. I will work with you to underestand how your past experiences have affected your current functioning, as well as support you in establishing and reaching your goals.
"Everyone has been made for some particular work, and the desire for that work has been put in every heart." (Rumi)
"Quantum Healing is defined as a shift in consciousness that causes a shift in biology and overall hormonal system." Deepak Chopra
My theoretical orientation, which is very much influenced by both humanistic and existential psychology, informs my therapeutic treatment in enabling clients to meet their goals. I believe that people in general develop their personalities in the service of positive goals and that we are born with certain innate capabilities, capacities, or potentialities. My therapeutic approach promotes healing by emotional and psychological awareness to enable one to experience life as a whole.
I am a generalist, meaning that I work with clients from adolescents to adulthood, in individual, family, couples, and group therapy. I work with clients dealing with issues including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and adjustments.
In addition, I have an interest in working with Middle Eastern, minorities, and Muslim communities.

Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling, our treatment focus may be able to help you recover your motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
"I could bring no cures to any of my clients no matter what I apply, nothing really works beyond band aid effect. The only time that I could provide mental health at beginning of their recovery is the moment I could restore to my clients some form of spirituality (traditional religion or non-traditional)."
